A lot of Montanans know of the Church Universal and Triumphant. Based near Gardiner not far from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park the armageddon cult lives at the Royal Teton Ranch. The C.U.T. isn’t doing so well today due to dwindling membership and a need to sell off bits of land to survive but in it’s 80’s heyday they were ready for the Apocalypse. Headed by Elizabeth Claire Prophet and rumored to have a massive stockpile of weapons stashed away for the end times they were all that stood between salvation and damnation. Once, nuclear war was even prevented through the power of C.U.T. prayers. Unfortunately, they lost the battle against Rock and Roll. Oh, they tried….but Madonna, Hall and Oates and Satan stood strong.
Thankfully, a CD was issued with some choice prayers and chants from the C.U.T.
