SSS tonight at 9 p.m. MST. Haven’t organized the show yet but this Les Rallizes track that just ended on my stereo just lit the freakin’ house on fire. I think it’s going to make tonight’s cut. Not sure what else except for the usual 11 o’clock call to arms. Any ideas or suggestions can be left in the comments. I’ll see what I can do.

Back in Montana again after spending a little time in Texas.

Vic’s death hit me pretty hard. Not that it was a surprise that he killed himself. But the guy was a the peak of his musical powers.

Maybe I’m selfish.

One of these days I’ll add one of those fancy plug-ins that let’s you play the mp3’s directly on the page. If anyone has a suggestion for a good one for Wordpress let me know.

That was my half-assed attempt at a Keiji Haino song title that relates to what I’ve been doing with my evening. My version: Drinking Coors and Watching Hoops.

I pulled out a long ignored Keiji Haino disc out of my collection yesterday (actually my kid picked it out but that was only because she could reach it). When I first bought the disc it was before I had a nice stereo to play it on. What a difference that makes. It kicked my ass.

The album is called “Revealed To None As Yet An Expedience To Utterly Vanish Consciousness While Still Alive” and was a dual release by Important Records and aRCHIVE. It’s two disc set featuring Haino on vocals, hurdy gurdy and electronics. I was cranking out the first disc and really got locked into the groove. This disc is not so easy to find these days so here is Disc 1 in it’s entirety.
