Another three hours of SSS on KGLT tonight at 9 MST. I don’t know how it’s all going to go down. Some Manowar of course, some Zappa and…..I don’t know yet…..still searching the cosmic vapor for the answers. ![]() The Union Solidarity & Development Association welcomes you to SSS. Radio Myanmar has taken over my stereo. Got it from the library at UM-Western. Got quite a few Sublime Frequencies discs up there. I wonder if the librarian has a wacko music freak for a husband? Neil Young/Dreamin’ Man Live’92/Natural Beauty As in cassettes. Thanks to Hammer Smashed Sound/Deathsmile I’ve had to reintroduce the old school tape deck (Denon player courtesy of sdc). ![]() This Locrian Drenched Lands cassette is killer. As a matter of fact, I just flipped it over to jam it again. Highly recommended and you could/should pick up the CD at Small Doses. Not sure if the cassette version is around anywhere right now. ![]() SSS tonight at 9 p.m. MST. Haven’t organized the show yet but this Les Rallizes track that just ended on my stereo just lit the freakin’ house on fire. I think it’s going to make tonight’s cut. Not sure what else except for the usual 11 o’clock call to arms. Any ideas or suggestions can be left in the comments. I’ll see what I can do. Until tonight…..Hail and Kill! Lita Ford challenges you to a stare down. Do you have what it takes to beat her? Press play to enter her realm. ![]() Just received the latest Ocrilim offering from Mr. Mick Barr (best known as the kick ass guitarist in Krallice). Three albums forming a trilogy. Ixoltion, Sacreth and Hymns. Did a quick scan and each one is different. I’m going to rock the shit out of these tomorrow. Pick up one of these handmade CDR sets from Mick at the Ocrilim myspace if you want one. Info is in the blog. He’s only making them until he gets bored and moves on to something else so don’t hesitate. ![]() A gangsta rap classic that most people don’t know shit about. These dudes from Chicago killed it on this album. They were compared to Bone Thugs at the time because of the quick vocal delivery. The two groups had a short beef but Bone went on to more success while Do or Die never crossed over. Ominous sounding with hooks handled by Rap-A-Lot label buddy Johnny P, the record is solid from beginning to end. I may have posted some Do or Die in the past but this album is deserving of more attention. ![]() 5 LP Picture Disc box set of the early Deathspell stuff coming to the U.S. in February. Hells Headbangers will have this in stock. |
